Giroscope’s CLLD project provides skills training, hands-on work experience and one-to-one support to help people move into and maintain employment.
Giroscope's CLLD Volunteering Project
We offer work experience in five different areas:
Construction and house renovation, Gardening and landscaping, Bicycle workshop, Computer refurbishment, & the Furniture project
Short training courses are also offered to compliment the practical experience
gained including a Level 1 in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, Level 3 Emergency First Aid and Level 2 COSHH (Care of Substances Hazardous to Health). Participants can also gain a 5 year CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.

These projects are part of the Community Led Local Development Fund. CLLD activity is funded through European Structural and Investment Funds.
