Secure Futures is a joint-venture project between Giroscope and The Vulcan Centre, and funded by Comic Relief. It works with 16 – 25 year olds who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, working with young people on a three-stage programme, using sports as a tool for personal development and change. It also provides housing support and training.
We are passionate about helping young people source and maintain sustainable housing, while working on building confidence through sports.
If you are interested in joining the project you will get support with your housing, a free gym membership and access to specially designed gym sessions for the people on the project. You will also have access to training, education and employment opportunities. The project will support you by helping you to achieve your goals – this could be anything from obtaining a full time job to going to University.
If you would like to find out further information about how you can join please send an email to securefutures@giroscope.org.uk with your name and telephone number. Alternatively you can give us a call on 07458 994 506 or visit our Facebook page. We look forward to hearing from you.
