Trustees

As a Registered Charity, Giroscope is managed by a Board of Trustees who meet quarterly.
They oversee the strategy and financial planning of the organisation. Giroscope believes that rigorous and effective governance is the key to a successful charitable organisation.

Meet the Giroscope Trustees…

Alan Brocklehurst – Alan is a Chartered Accountant with a wealth of skills and experience in the local and national business community.  He was one of the original group of people that developed the idea of Giroscope in 1984.

Anna Coromina – Anna has extensive organisational experience having managed large scale cultural festivals and networks in Barcelona (Ramadan Nights, Vertex Festival, Poliedre artist network). She has been working on participatory projects in HU3 and has been collaborating with Giroscope on cultural projects for the past 8 years.

Holly Galbraith – Holly is an Architect based and practicing in London, albeit originally from Hull, and is involved in a range of student accommodation projects that focus on utilising prefabrication and off-site construction technologies. Holly volunteered at Giroscope in 2011 assisting with the preparation of our successful LEAF and Empty Homes Fund bids. She joined the Board of Trustees in 2020.
