Young People Into Catering and Hospitality

Our Young People Into Catering and Hospitality Project is aimed at people aged 16-25 seeking to get into the Catering and Hospitality industries. It is funded by the Bettys & Taylors Family Fund administered by Two Ridings Community Foundation.

We have a fully equipped training kitchen at our offices in west Hull. Under the guidance of our qualified chef, Oscar, people on the project spend 2 days a week for 10 weeks learning cookery skills and food hygiene. We also offer as part of the project Level 2 Food Safety in Catering, Level 2 Customer Services and Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work accredited qualifications. The project also offers the opportunity for work experience at a number of restaurants in Hull.
