GIROSCOPE BIKE WORKSHOP
Giroscope’s Bike Workshop brings unwanted bikes back into use for our community while giving volunteers a welcoming space to build skills in bike repair and maintenance. By loaning and offering low-cost refurbished bikes and accessible repairs, we make cycling possible for more people.
Everything we do champions repair, re-use and recycling, rooted in our belief that practical action creates stronger, fairer neighbourhoods. From our base at Selby Street Yard, we are developing a community loan fleet, running fix, learn and ride sessions as a part of Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival. We provide free safety checks and minor repairs funded through Sport England. We also offer other low-cost repair services and affordable refurbished bikes for everyone.
