About Humber Business Week
Humber Business Week is one of the UK’s largest regional business festivals, bringing together businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, public sector organisations and community leaders from across the Humber region to share ideas, build connections and showcase innovation and growth opportunities.
A key discussion during the event will be the development of a HU3 Social Enterprise Network which aims to encourage partnership working, strengthen local enterprise and create a collective voice for organisations committed to social value and community wealth building.

The Humber Business Week programme continues at St Matthew’s on Friday 5 June with ‘Giroscope 40 Lunch Plus: High-Tech Innovation for Community Value’ with BlokBuild. This award-winning Hull-based technology company specialises in digital construction and building information modelling solutions.
This free lunchtime event celebrates 40 years of Giroscope’s community-led work and explores how technology and innovation can be harnessed to create positive social and economic outcomes for local communities. The event provides another exciting opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing and strengthening relationships across the Humber’s social economy.
St Matthew’s Community Enterprise Centre, a restored Grade II listed landmark on Anlaby Road, has rapidly become a destination for enterprise, creativity and collaboration, supporting start-ups, social enterprises, SMEs and community organisations through flexible workspace, stylish offices, events and networking opportunities.
Together, these Humber Business Week events demonstrate the growing importance of social enterprise and community-led innovation in shaping the future of West Hull. The organisers hope they will provide the foundation for stronger partnerships and the launch of a vibrant HU3 Social Enterprise Network that can champion inclusive growth and community prosperity for years to come.
