The West Park Palace is the latest, and one of the most ambitious, projects in our neighbourhood regeneration programme. This much-loved, locally listed Edwardian cinema is being carefully restored to celebrate West Hull’s architectural heritage and re-imagined as a bold, welcoming place for the future.
The West Park Palace will be an iconic destination shaped around food, health and wellbeing, culture, creativity and enterprise. It will be fully accessible, flexible and multi-functional, a destination that supports people to build skills, confidence and opportunity, whether through employment pathways, learning or creative exchange.
Richard Motley, Development and Regeneration Co-ordinator
At the heart of the building will be a vibrant Winter Garden, hosting a mix of commercial and community-facing events shaped by local interests and needs. Alongside this, the Palace will offer business units, training rooms and event spaces for start-ups, social enterprises and other users, backed by practical enterprise support.

This is regeneration with purpose: quality design, strong social value, and a belief that when people are supported and connected, lasting change can happen.
